About
Hatty Pocock
Graduating from Leeds college of Art in 2014 with a degree in Fine Art, Hatty now lives in London and has recently gained her Masters degree in Art Psychotherapy from Hertfordshire University. Her art practice is a constant source of highly stylised and lively animal paintings that feature on a assortment of canvas, pottery, greeting cards and illustrations. Her work is bold in colour and incorporates symbolic meanings. She creates art in the hope that when people view her work they smile and are left with a sense of happiness and calmness. Her philosophy is that art should be about feeling and energy and can act as a powerful healing tool when channelled effectively. Hatty lives true to her philosophy by running art therapy sessions in a schools for children with ASC and SEMH needs and creates artwork and murals for communal spaces such as schools, care homes and gardens where they can act as a potent form of spirt lifting. Hatty continues to make art alongside her art therapy practice and will take commissions
